The SongArt Performance Research Group organises a range of core events, both at the Institute of Musical Research in the School of Advanced Study, University of London (Senate House), and at associated conservatoires, universities, conferences, and other institutions and meetings in the UK and abroad.
We warmly invite musicians, writers, academics and interested members of the public to all of our public events. Please follow the associated links to sign up where indicated, since for some meetings, space is limited.

21 June, 2012: WORKSHOP (PUBLIC EVENT): "Lyric Song in Idea and Performance". Research questions: "What is the lyric and how do we make it?". A cross-disciplinary performance-led workshop on instances of the lyric, itscreation and invocation, in song performance in concert.
